Knowing your husband’s softspot for backyard wildlife (I’ve been reading these blogs since you started) I am thinking it has something to do with that; seeing the woodpecker poster I’m guessing it has to do with birds.
I’m guessing something about birds too. Maybe seeds and other food?
Do they sell gardening equipment along with flowers and plants?
I was going to guess gardening supplies as well.

Yes, and just after I took the picture they added a few more fliers to the windows! (The owners encourage birds to live up in their rafters!)
