Well, he’s getting old. We’re not sure how old but lying in the sun is definitely his favorite thing to do these days.
That picture reminds me so much of my old cat. I miss him so much. I used to get so angry when he would scratch up some furniture, forget about the litter box resulting in a call to the pet stain removal company, or hack out a beautifully disgusting fur ball right as we all sat down at dinner. Now I would take all of that and more for just 5 more minutes sitting in my chair while he napped in the sunny spot on the carpet. Basking in the sunlight, to me, means letting go of those little frustrating moments and seeing the good that truly does exist in our crazy mixed up world.
