It was the middle of the day so I’m sure it was a little toasty on the sailboat! The beach – south end of Waikiki Beach – was heavenly – the sand is heaven in your toes and the water was just cool enough to be refreshing – I could have gone to that beach every day of my visit but my daughter had other plans!
It sounds like a fantastic beach, but I think of beautiful beaches whenever I think about Hawaii. I hope your daughter allows you some relaxation time, although I guess she wants to keep you busy and doing stuff while you’re visiting.

The waves on this beach and on Kaanapali (on the island of Maui) are considered a couple of the most gentle beaches in the world. On the other side of the islands, quite a different story!

Me too. There are people (I talked to one on the plane to Hawaii) who travel to Oahu just to sit on that beach for five days and unwind. There’s a relaxing zoo and aquarium not far where you can take a break from the sun.
A gorgeous photo, I wish I could just dive into it! It’s been a while since I’ve taken a trip to the beach, and the sea and the sand are calling my name.
