Please don’t spoil my day

So, apparently we’re expected to believe that Donald Trump was a snitch for the FBI and that’s why he was on pervert island with all of the other insanely rich and powerful men who like to diddle little girls. Sigh. I’ve stopped asking “how stupid do they think we are?” when the answer is always the same. There is no bottom to our stupidity according to the groveling, sycophantic members of the GOP.

And so I’ll take a long walk and greet my favorite beings on this wretched planet.

Even on the hottest day, the shade of these redwoods is always cool.
This guy is conducting a cloud symphony!

And then I’ll go back to sleeping.

  1. How stupid do they think TOO many of us are? I swear if Trump said the moon was made of green cheese, they would believe it. I have a variety of trees around me and they are calming spirits.

    1. I don’t know how so many people can grovel to that creature and still get in front of the cameras and make idiots of themselves. Do they think that once DT is gone all will be forgotten? Yes, a daily walk is a necessity these days!

  2. Huh. I’ve not been following the news these last few days, on a self-imposed sabbatical of sorts. So The Donald wasn’t where he was because of his proclivities, he was there to be helpful? This would be entertaining if it wasn’t so unbelievable.

  3. This “Trump derangement fever” has to break. We have a President who lies like others breathe…wild claims and chaos every single day….despicable actions that will come full circle. As for the ridiculous claim about Epstein, many feel that our First Lady is the one who will be mentioned in great detail for the involvement she had there.

    1. That’s what I used to think. But apparently there are people willing to sell their soul to keep the lies coming. The problem with lies is, they have an endless need to be fed by other lies.

  4. My husband has a … previously reasonable…Trump supporting friend and we’re always wondering what it will take for him to see the light. No matter how many valid reasons you give him, no matter how much proof… he’s an unwavering ally. At this point we think he just refuses to admit he was wrong. Pride goeth before a fall… unfortunately this time it’s the country that’s falling.

  5. Hi Jan,

I’d forgotten the Beatles song. Really nice one. To talk about the idiot is really too difficult for me. I watch movies, listen to songs, read, write and, as always, imagine that I am in Northern Africa during the 1930s, an emigre biding time as some fuckedup hell burns. Duke

    1. That video is one of the best representatives of the dream state – at least the way I dream which is continually taking up more and more of my sleep thus that I can barely call what I do at night sleep. It’s anything but. I’d like to hear more about the guy in North Africa during the 30s.

      1. We have almost two dozen Pine trees around our back property and so I have become very familiar with their needles. I think they are 70 years old and I like looking up at them 9at times).
and Tian Schell just shared something about how much she loves redwoods too – now I will think of you when I see those trees too
