The best thing about being an early riser is … of course … greeting the sun.

Seven AM and fog still clings to the coastal hills. It’s 54 degrees out there folks!

Forty-five minutes later and the sun decides to mount an offense.

8:32 and … yup … it’s gonna be a sunny day. Time to wash the sheets and hang them to dry.

Captain Kitty and his co-pilot Dog are raring to go. 64 degrees but it will get hotter soon.
Many thanks to all of you who are following #Storytime. I can’t begin to tell you how much it means to me. Tomorrow we find out what lurks just outside the phone booth waiting for Daniel …

From fog to clear blue skies in hardly any time at all.
Hi. Have a great weekend!
Thank you Neil.Yup, this time of year the temps can go from the 50s to the 90s in a few hours – luckily the days are getting shorter!
My favorite time of day, too. I can’t wait for those cool temperatures here! But it will be awhile.
I’ve always been an up with the sun sort of person. We’ll be getting some hot weather this next week but luckily the days are shorter.
It’s so much colder at night now and I love that.
Me too!
enjoyed seeing the sunrise images 🙂
These days the sun turns the fog off pretty rapidly.
;0)
What a lovely place to wake up. I haven’t had much time for following along lately but I’ll get back on track soon xx
Hi Restless – it’s a lot to ask fellow bloggers to keep up with a story! I find posting these sections a big help to keeping them tight. I know everyone doesn’t have the time – which is fine. Lovely to see you whenever you have the time to pop in!
Gotta show this to my son.
As I remember, it can go from summer to winter pretty fast in Germany. Hope you guys are having a lovely fall.
Oh yes!
It’s been raining a lot, and it got really cold. I love rain, but this has been a bit too much for my liking.
Nice post, Jan. Fab shots!
How many Stotytimes have I missed? I see one coming up.
I enjoy seeing photos of fog. It doesn’t happen here often, odd considering with live on a hill but weather does what it does.
The fog can creep over the hills almost any time of the year … which is why they say to always carry a windbreaker when you visit SF. Generally we’re far enough out of town that it burns off.
A lovely morning 🌞
I’m telling you, the view from your deck is pretty awesome.
Yeah – we don’t get many spectacular sunrises or sunsets but the fog and the trees are very comforting!
Yes, that’s the impression I got from the photo. It looks like a very comforting place to be.
