It’s weird how fast we can get from place to place now, such that our brains take a while to acclimate.
I remember when I spent time in Senegal with my daughter, then in the span of about a day (12 hours or so), I was back in the very different Pacific Northwest. It was a sort of culture shock. Plus, the time difference kicked my butt.
