I once slept on the beaches of Nice. These were my companions: Elizabet, Soborek and Caroline. I don’t know them now but I imagine they’re thinking about waking that morning to the fishermen returning from the sea.
I’ve been there many times and, well, this whole thing is really shit. Sorry, but hey, what can you say. I’ll grab the nice/Nice memories and take them with me for a bit..
So, I linked to Nice is not nice – and it’s well worth the re-read. Thanks, Jan
I hope we are all thinking about last night, and the shame it brings on humanity.
I found myself on that beach with its soft breezes, calm sea and in my heart I feel those other three souls play a chord.
It’s nearly beyond comment Jan.
It is.
😦
So horribly sad.
It’s a place of such beauty and my memories of fishermen and the beach are still so vivid that I have to say I’m stunned.

I’ve only been there once – as a poor traveler – but it was beautiful.
Why are humans so inhumane?
An age old question I’m afraid!
Yes sadly and it will never be answered!
