This post is for Sustainabilitea over at This, that and the other thing who posts interesting photos and asks readers what they see. What do you see?
Also at this same location:

An exhibit of low rider bikes, the two wheeled variety. The one above is called: By Reason of Insanity.

Once again proving that art is everywhere.

I can see why my photo brought yours to mind. Love that bike.
There was a whole exhibit of those bikes but they were all in glass cages and so it was difficult to photograph them without a lot of reflection!
That’s so annoying!’
Wow! That is one special bicycle!
Yeah, they put a lot of work into those bikes!
Gorgeous bike. The first photo could be the roof of an airport or museum. Art is everywhere and pretty much everything.
It’s the ceiling of SFO International terminal which is very light and airy. Like an airplane hangar!
Very cool.
art truly is everywhere and great post, JT
The low rider project took a lot of old abandoned bicycles and turned them into works o art. Some of the stories were truly inspirational. A lot of the artists were kids!
What a beautiful bike.
I so admire people who can do that kind of art project. I have 0 vision. I was thinking the ceiling of an airport–but had no idea which one. Not sure I’ve been in that one before.
A lot of the people who worked on those bikes were just kids with no art background and they used bits and pieces from scrapyards. That’s the ceiling of the International Terminal at SFO. The lobby itself is huge.
It looks like a fancy ceiling in a huge space. Yes, Janet posts some very cool pics!
LOVE that bicycle..wow! Thank you, Jan!
It’s a huge terminal – with ticket counters for dozens upon dozens of international airlines! I loved seeing all the international fliers and their families and their mountains of luggage! But I don’t like to take candid pics of strangers – seems like such an invasion!!
Ahh, thank you, Jan!
I understand and agree about not taking pics of people you don’t know. I take lots of pics of art in busy streets. If by fate I have to capture someone due to a busy street, I try for unidentifiable shots, or blur their head when posting.
Wow, this bicycle is really amazing 👌💛
