Loved this post, Jan.
The VV Museum is raffling a Christmas quilt.
Sometime next year, the museum hopes to devote an exhibit to the quilts of Solano County. I’m hoping to interest my friends Marsha and Nina into loaning some of the quilts they’ve made for the exhibit.
In the meantime, thank you again for your post.
Hope you and Joel are enjoying the autumn.
Love.

Let me know when/if they do! I know a lot of quilters.
Oh my gosh, so many gorgeous quilts! I’ve always been envious of that talent…. Probably because I can’t sew a stitch to save my life.
I’m the same way – completely flunked sewing in Home Ec.
Loved this! In my sewing room as I reply. What is your calendar like for a lunch gathering? We can come to Orinda if that is easier for you and Joel. Love,Mary Alice
I thought you would! Let’s definitely plan something – looks like the weather will be nice for the next couple of weeks. Love to you and John and the kids!
We are free on Thursday of next week….

And i went to a quilt art exhibit two weeks ago and hope to get a post out soon (it was so much fun)
Beautiful quilts. I love them, but could never make one. It’s a talent I do not have.
I hear ya ally – it takes talent and an enormous amount of patience
I don’t either!
A great post to share, Jan. My dad also makes terrific quilts.
Oh I’d love to see them!
Wow! That is one fantastic collection of quilts! Thank you!
