A plaque thanking all the contributors to the park’s playground for …..humm, what age group could that be?

A mural I’ve never noticed before titled “Bear and Friends.” What’s that in the top right corner?

A house on the hill with an infinity pool and a roof top helicopter pad? Oh my, do you think that might be Bear’s home?

Meanwhile the Starlight Players are getting ready for another production. The last one of their season, LeFanu’s Carmilla.
Check out other #WordlessWednesday posts at Hugh’s place.

Smiling here. 😁
That artist has painted many whimsical murals around the town – I just happened to note the house on the hill and thought – humm, a slight dig to some of the very wealthy people who live in hilltop estates around here?
love these photos , no I reckon they guys with bear look like they might be on their way to do a number on the rich dudes place. It’s an odd combination for a mural….💜💜💜
It is a struggle in this town to protect and maintain our creeks and wildlife areas from being over developed. He’s done a number of other murals which I will now have to check out – for other hidden slights! Not to worry – I’m on the case!
So glad you’re on the case too many just let it slide 😧😉💜💜💜💜
I love the bumblebee carving on the top of Bear’s walking stick. 🙂
Yes, he tried to include as many little critters as he could.
Le Fanu now? Amazing. (Didn’t we comment on Le Fanu already?)
You’re the second blogger this week who shows a – coming – live performance. That’s nice, in this day of on-line entertainment…
It’s a nice but kind of wacko mural.
Looks like its a very posh dog 🤗
lol on the helicopter pad on the roof 🙂
I just love your humor, Jan. That is so funny, and what else could it be? It’s a truly beautiful mural and so California. We are always pressed to keep the wild wild in this land of expensive real estate and folks with money. Terrific post, Jan.
I had to laugh at the infinity pool and the helicopter. So incongruous, and yet, so very Bay Area, especially with big tech folks. I don’t know if we have any of this artist’s murals in Walnut Creek, I’ll have to keep my eyes open.
Yes, the artist wanted to poke fun of the wealthy people in the area, no doubt!
Love the mural,Jan.
Yes, the Bear and his friends are going to the Bear house to have a party!
Or fly away to somewhere fun!
