  1. The pain is so raw and makes me think about what I’m avoiding which is the ugly past, the uncertain present and the terrifying future. In the meantime, I drink coffee and sit with my cat and some books. I worry for my daughters and grandsons more than I do for myself.

  2. Interesting post. I’m currently reading a book that says we’ve been setting the stage since 1776, and that our focus, solely based on two perspectives—either right or wrong—without reasonable discussion about the in-between, is dividing this country more and more every day. Agree, the video of Johnny Cash was cool.

  3. Somewhere along the line I learned that when things go wrong I can “mope, cope, or hope” and at this point I’m in my coping phase. Will hope return? I dunno, but I do know that carrying on in a positive calm way is the perfect way to irritate people who adore Don the Con.
