Terrifying, frustrating, heartbreaking…I could go on, but you get the idea. Today I had to tell my 92-year-old mother that her $35 a month insulin would be going up to its regular (outrageous) price of over $600 a month. Add that to her Eliquis which is over $700 a month. She does have drug coverage but will still be paying 25% of the costs after meeting her deductible. It is criminal. So is our new administration.

Your post title is very appropriate, isn’t it? Mom can afford the medications but so many people, especially seniors, can’t. They are the human face of T’s cruelty.
I have so much rage and fear at the same time.
I think that’s how many of us feel. I hope the MAGA folks are happy with their discussion however when things start to go sour, which they will soon, they’ll probably still blame anyone else but themselves.
